Work With Us

Join the Mission!

At The Who We Are Project, we believe that the people who do this work are as important as the work itself. We are building a team of curious, committed, and courageous individuals who bring diverse lived experiences, perspectives, and skills to one of the most urgent missions in America today — making the truth of this country's history of anti-Black racism accessible, understood, and impossible to ignore.

We are looking for people who are energized by that challenge. People who believe that education, truth-telling, and storytelling have the power to change minds, shift culture, and move us closer to justice. We want to work with people who want to contribute to something that matters — and who understand that doing this work well requires honesty, rigor, and a deep commitment to the communities we serve.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. See our open positions below.

We believe the work of racial justice belongs to all of us. The fight for a more honest, equitable, and just America is one that every American has a stake in. Therefore, we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who share that commitment.

The Who We Are Project provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, or veteran status, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
