Request for Proposals
The Who We Are Project is seeking a highly qualified communications, marketing, and public relations partner to develop our first comprehensive strategic communications plan.
The communications plan will provide tactical direction for campaigning, content marketing, donor relations, program and product marketing, and organizational messaging.
The plan will also guide the promotional rollout of forthcoming major media releases, including a documentary series, a published book, a podcast, a national speaking tour, and the re-release of our documentary film Who We Are: a Chronicle of Racism in America (Sony Pictures Classics, 2021).

Partnership Launch: December 2025
Initial Contract Period: 12 months (with potential to extend)
Qualifications Deadline: October 31, 2025
Firm Interviews: November 10-21, 2025
Partner Selected By: December 5, 2025
